Miguels Little Corner Logo
While taking a portfolio class, I had the opportunity to re-design my logo. I wanted to update my logo letter mark while keeping the colors and typeface. A mixture of old and new, an evolution. Started out by grabbing some scratch paper and sketching possible ideas. After a few rounds, I chose a few and redrew them in my notebook. I narrowed down those sketches to a few. I then recreated those selected on the computer using a grid system. After multiple revisions and iterations, I had something I liked and wanted to use to represent me.
The name Miguels Little Corner was created for my first web class back in '06. At the time, someone brought to my attention that I always sat in the back corner of the class. I then applied it to the name of my portfolio site because it would be my little corner...in cyber space.
