Carlsbad Historical Society: The Heart of Historic Carlsbad | A Self-Guided Tour
The Carlsbad Historical Society approached our MAT270 class with a project. They needed a video to promote some key historical sites in downtown Carlsbad, focusing on Magee Park and the Magee family. For this project I went to various locations to shoot photos and video, edited the footage to the voice over audio provided by the client and created the graphics such as the logo, map and lower thirds. The client did not like the color direction for the logo, but I placed the original logo here because I feel like it fits better with the project's overall tone and feel.
This project was fun to work on because it allowed me to use my past experience in motion graphics and video editing. I also like documentaries and this project allowed me to learn more about my neighbor city.
Role: Logo design, motion graphics, shooting and editing video.
